Hey Mike, I read on MM (where I can't respond, never having been able to find a "register" button), where you were talking about the Joe Farmer piece.

It does have comments, and they are still there, I just checked. However, they come up in a pop-up window, maybe? Looks like it anyway. So maybe you have your pop-ups disabled or something.

Hi Mike,

I saw your post at MM and only focused on the musculous part. My response must have made zero sense asking if it was you or your father. Sorry about that.

I am indeed interested in how your father is doing.

As to your proposition. Alas, I don't think it will work. Why? Because people won't follow through. Most in this country are polarized and willing to vote LOTE every time. Partly because the Ds will always vote D regardless. So the only Party throwing people out is and always has been the Rs. I'm convinced that much of this election, aside from the enormous fraud from the left, is Rs throwing the bums out. McCain was the worst candidate ever put forward by the GOP. And look how fractured people are at MMs. Too many were willing right from the get-go to vote LOTE instead of push for a new candidate. I don't see enough true conservatives to really give it a go.

I certainly don't have the answers. We, as conservatives, need to find big monied people, ala Soros, to fund huge PR campaigns that focus on the Constitution, education on conservative priciples and how and why they really do work. It needs to be taken to the people.

The only way around the MSM is buying airtime all our own and in big enough blocks. Also, cooridinating local chapters to do the same, on radio, TV and in Townhall forums. And even door to door campaigns ala prop 8.

And one last comment... I truly believe this is the end-times, for real, and that civil war is coming to this country. And while we're caught up in that, other nations will take the opportunity to wage war on Israel. We as a people can pray and continue to fight for freedom, but nothing can stop the Prophecies from happening. I only want to be found on the Lord's side when the end comes. Or I should say, the new beginning.

Mike: I just read your comment on Michelle Malkin's site this election day. What impressed me was the LDS's emphasis on their members knowing the Constitution and writings of the Founding Fathers. I am totally impressed! This semester on Fridays I am teaching the Constitution (not the amendments - no time this time around) to nine homeschooled high schoolers. I have done this about four times over the years. My aim is to have them read every word so they know how our Constitution is set up. Also, before reading the Constitution I give them background on the men who crafted our wonderful document, and their worldview. But, I am very impressed with the LDS commitment to our founding documents.

Mike, this post is just too unreadable to even begin to understand.

You use too many pet names and slang for your thought? to be followed.
Add to that, any seasoned reader of blogs will want to look to see if you have posted often, very much, and you haven't... only one post, this one.

One post, and you claim "to be certain that 'it'll work?'
Apologizing in advance here, but you sound exactly like every snakeoil salesman who's ever come down the pike, man.

Pass.

Just a note:
I am uncertain what theme to use for this. I think this is the pretty good, but I will try others from time to time.

Give me feed back on it, because I have "old eyes", and what I find readable you might find not so much.
